Women's Ministry Team

 

The Women's Ministry Team is an active group which sponsors Bible Studies, retreats, and an annual celebration event.

 

Our most recent event was our Winter Retreat held on Saturday, January 4th, 2012.

 

Our 2011 fundraiser was "The Copacabana", held on August 7th, in the Blue Heron at Tenroc Ranch in Salado.

 

In 2010, the Women's Ministry sponsored a Benefit Talent Contest, "Strut Ur Stuff" on August 14, at the Salado High School Auditorium.  Proceeds benefited the construction of the Salado United Methodist Church Youth Activity Center.

 

In 2009, the Celebration was themed "Salado Meets Jazz" and was held Sunday, June 28th, at Tenroc Ranch in Salado.  Entertainment was provided by LeRon Tubb, pianist, and by our own Karen Stalcup, vocalist.

 

In 2008, the spring celebration event was "Celebration 2008: New York, New York", which was held in June at Tenroc ranch - a wonderful evening of fine food, music, and fellowship.
