SUMC is committed to providing a safe place where kids of all ages can learn about God in an exciting and active environment. Each child at SUMC is surrounded by God's love through caring adults and organized programs.
Summer Children’s Sunday School Programs
This summer all children pre-K through 5th grade will take part in “Living Inside Out”- Where Kids Dare to Live Their Faith 24/7! "Living Inside Out" starts June 5 and runs through August 28. We will start each Sunday all together in the Theater Room!
Wednesday Night Program
This summer, from June 8 through August 17 each Wednesday night will be a chance for children entering Kindergarten thru completed 5th grade to take part in our Wednesday Night Summer Program from 6:00-7:00 p.m. The schedule of events is below: (schedule is subject to change due to weather and other factors)

Children ages birth to 4 years old are welcome in our nursery. Sunday School Time is offered for ages 2 and 3 in the nursery from 9:30am - 10:30am.
Children (pre k 4 thru 2nd grade) are invited to attend the first part of the Sunday Morning Worship services, and are then dismissed before the sermon to go to Children's Church.
A way for children to serve in the Sunday Morning Worship (during school year only)
For children ages 12 months - 4 years. Program runs during the school year on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Click here for more information.

Community Easter Egg Hunt
The Community Easter Egg Hunt was held Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. here on the church grounds. We all had a great time with Easter Egg Hunts for various different ages from birth to age 12, games, prizes, and food.
Join us this summer for "PandaMania - Where God Is Wild About You!" - a wild celebration of God's unconditional love! At PandaMania, kids will discover that God has a purpose and a plan for everyone and that he crafted each of us with his own loving hands. July 11-15, 2011 from 9:00am-noon.
Each October 31st, SUMC's parking lot is filled with cars and trucks decorated and packed with treats. Everyone from the community and surrounding areas are invited to attend this safe family activity. This year's program will be from 5:00-7:00pm - see poster to the right for more information. Contact Kristen at the church office if you can volunteer to help, or wish to bring your decorated car for passing out candy.
Each year, the children (grades 1-6) of SUMC put on a special Christmas Musical. Last year's production was "Arrest These Merry Gentlemen", which was performed on December 8th and 12th.
