• To be a welcoming church (Witness)    

 

Start by helping us welcome our newest members.

 

A sub-commitete of Witness has been formed to evaluate options for helping us progress this goal.  The committee had its first meeting on Monday, February 23.  Many great ideas were discussed and will be refined in the weeks to come.  Watch this space for further communication on our progress toward becoming a more welcoming church.

 

 

• To continue our partnership with the Methodish Church, in Meru, Kenya (Outreach).

• To create an on-going partnership with the Bridge City United Methodist Church in the the Beaumont area and to help re-build their church and community (Outreach).   

 

Find out more about our Disaster Recovery Team, and how you can help.  The Youth will be going on a Mission Trip to this area from March 18-22.

 

 

• To become a five-star mission in our conference mission program (Outreach).    

 

Work is progressing on this goal, with most of the forms now completed for submission.  Watch this space for further updates.

 

 

As the year progresses, we will post periodic updates as to our progress with regard to each of these goals, so check back here often.
