ONLINE CHURCH DIRECTORY
Families who have their portraits taken for the 2009 SUMC church directory in early March will have the option of having their picture and other directory information included in a new secured online directory.
- Access to this directory will be by password only - and passwords will only be given to SUMC members who have their photo taken for the 2009 printed directory and sign the necessary consent form.
- Unless you direct otherwise, this directory will include your family picture, name(s), home address, phone number, and e-mail address.
- The directory can be accessed thru the SUMC website (www.saladoumc.org).
- Any or all of your information can be updated, made visible, or hidden from the online directory at any time by you, using your unique password (or if you wish, by a member of the church staff upon written request - an e-mail is fine).
We believe this will be a great way to keep our growing church family connected – especially since we typically only update our printed directories every other year.
We would like to have the online directory be as complete as possible, but also respect any wishes you might have that some or all of your directory information not be accessible online. For this reason, information will only be made visibile on the online website if you agree so by signing a consent form at the time your directory portrait is taken.
After the photographer has completed the creation of the online directory, we will:
- ensure that your information disclosure preferences (as noted on your signed consent form) are complied with
- issue passwords to those families who had their portrait taken and signed a consent form
- provide a link to the online directory from this website
As new members join our church, they will have the opportunity to be added to this online directory.
