Salado United Methodist Church

We welcome you to the Salado United Methodist Church. We are an old historic congregation established in the 1850’s. We are located on a beautifully wooded 15-acre site on the eastern edge of Salado in the Texas Hill Country. Our modern facilities are only 4 years old, and we have a beautiful historic Chapel that has been featured in Hill Country magazine and Texas Monthly.

We offer a very active youth and children’s program. We have a monthly seniors' group, weekly Bible studies, fellowship meals, mission opportunities, and small group discussions. Our community is warm and open. Our music is exciting and inspiring.

In addition to engaging a wide array of ministries locally, we support a Methodist Church in Kenya, Africa, and several missionaries internationally. We have a disaster response team and have been very involved in providing hurricane relief in Texas and Louisiana.

Pray Now

Join us on Sunday, January 31 in worship and for our fifth Sunday lunch. The lunch will be catered by Las Casas and will be fajitas. Cost will be $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children 12 and under. A wrist band with "Pray Now" will be given out as we make some adjustments to our prayer ministry, and as we focus our prayers on some specific events in our church, community, and world.

Youth Activity Center Update

Blueprints for the renovation of the existing 1,200 sq foot maintenance building to a 4,000 sq, ft. Youth Activity Center (YAC) are completed and have been approved by the Village of Salado. Construction of the concrete foundation has finished, the steel has been raised, and the windows and doors are in place. It doesn't look like a workshed anymore!
